Land Forces Commander Gen. Buyukanit In Athens

ATHENS - Turkish Land Forces Commander Gen. Yasar Buyukanit arrived in Athens today upon invitation of Greek Land Forces Commander Gen. Nikolaos Ntouvas.
Gen. Buyukanit will attend a dinner to be hosted by Turkish Ambassador in Athens Tahsin Burcuoglu this evening.
According to Buyukanit's schedule, he will lay a wreath on the Monument of the Unknown Soldier on Thursday.
Gen. Buyukanit will separately meet Gen. Ntouvas, Greek Chief of General Staff Vice Admiral Panayotis Hinofotis and National Defense Minister Spilios Spiliotopoulos.
Buyukanit will participate in a dinner to be hosted by Gen. Ntouvas on Thursday evening.
He is expected to return to Turkey on Friday.
