Germanwings Also Flies To Ankara

ISTANBUL - German Company 'Germanwings' started its flights to Turkish capital Ankara, after Istanbul and Izmir.
Germanwings public relations official Andreas Engel said on Wednesday that they attached great importance to the occupancy rates, stating that their seat occupancy rate reached 82.3 percent this year. Engel added that flight and seat occupancy rates are even higher in Turkey.
Indicating that they started their first flight between Cologne and Istanbul in December 2002, Engel noted that they added Stuttgart-Istanbul and Izmir flights in 2003.
Engel said that Berlin-Istanbul and Berlin-Ankara flights started on June 5th, stating that Cologne-Ankara flights would start on June 28th and Stuttgart-Izmir flights on July 17th.
Asked whether Germanwings considered an establishment of partnership in Turkey, Engel said that they were continuing strategic studies on this matter.
