Former Diyarbakir Police Chief Okkan Commemorated

DIYARBAKIR, Jan 24 (A.A) - Citizens of southeastern Diyarbakir province lay carnations to the spot where former Diyarbakir police chief Gaffar Okkan and five policemen were martyred and condemn the attack.
Citizens of Diyarbakir did not forget Okkan and his friends Sabri Kun, Mehmet Kamali, Selahattin Baysoy, Attilla Durmus and Mehmet Sepetci who were martyred in a terrorist attack last year this day.
A group of students, and repsentatives of women and non-governmental organizations visited the spot where Okkan and five policemen were martyred and laid carnations and Turkish flag.
