Turkey Repays U.S.D. 394.55 Million In Foreign Debt Between Jan 2-23

ANKARA, Jan 24 (A.A) - Turkey repaid a total of 394.55 million U.S. dollars in external debt between January 2 and 23, 2002 except private sector.
The Central Bank data show that the Treasury repaid 304.30 million U.S. dollars; the Central Bank repaid 13.34 million U.S. dollars; 50.40 million U.S. dollars was paid to International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the administrations with general and consolidated budget paid the remaining 26.51 million U.S. dollars.
The total external debt repayments in 2001 was 13 billion 53.9 million U.S. dollars.
