WASHINGTON D.C., Jan 23 (A.A) - International Monetary Fund (IMF) Board is expected to convene on February 4 to discuss Turkey's new letter of intent and new Stand-by arrangement.
IMF Spokesman Conny Lotze told the A.A correspondent on Wednesday that the IMF Board was planned to convene on February 4, 2002.
After the IMF Board approves Turkey's new letter of intent, the new Stand-by agreement will come into force till the end 2004.
The IMF is expected to provide a new source of 10 billion U.S. dollars in 2002 and to give 2 billion U.S. dollars to Turkey between 2003 and 2004 within framework of the Stand-by.
