ANKARA - Etisalat, Koc Holding, Oger Telecoms and Turktell will bid for 55 percent shares of state-run phone operator Turk Telecom, the Turkish Privatization Administration announced on Tuesday.
Releasing a statement, the Privatization Administration said that after evaluation of pre-qualification applications, four joint venture groups were seen eligible for bidding for the block sale of 55 percent of Turk Telecom.
The list of groups which will bid for Turk Telecom is as follows:
Etisalat Joint Venture Group:
-Cetel-Calik Energy Telecommunication
-Dubai Islamic Bank
-Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company
-Etisalat-Emirates Telecommunications Corporation
Koc Holding Joint Venture Group:
-Koc Holding
-The Carlyle Group L.L.C
Oger Telecoms Joint Venture Group:
-Oger Telecoms L.L.C
-Saudi Oger Ltd.
Turktell Joint Venture Group:
-Turktell Informatics Services
-Gen-Pa Telecommunication Services
-Tekofaks Office and Communication Products Marketing
-Kurtson Mine and Industry
