Fishermen Caught 4-meter-long Shark Off Foca

IZMIR, Jan 23 (A.A) - Atilla Tiyensan and Murat Turkoglu who have been earning their living from fishing for 30 years caught a 4-meter-long shark weighing 200 kilograms off Foca township of western province of Izmir in Aegean region early on Wednesday.
Speaking to the A.A correspondent, fishermen said that they were shocked when they saw a giant shark which got caught in their fishing net at about 05:00 the same day.
They said, ''we thought that the shark had gotten caught in the net while it was following a school of fish. We have been fishing for thirty years but we caught such a big shark for the first time in these waters.''
