ISTANBUL, Jan 23 (A.A) - World Bank will visit the regions where the village-city project is being implemented.
Sources said on Wednesday that a delegation from the World Bank which was expected to give loan to Turkey for spread of village-city project would go to Mesudiye township in Ordu province in Black Sea region on Thursday and visit Cavdar, Yuvali, Kislacik, Cardakli, Gocbeyi, Turkkoy, Dayili, Ilisar and Esatli villages where the village-city project was being implemented.
Sources said that the delegation would prepare a report and submit it to the World bank, adding that this report would affect use of the source that the bank allocated to the rural development projects and that the bank could transfer the source to the village-city type projects.
The project had also been discussed during Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit's meeting with World Bank President James Wolfenshon last week.
