ANKARA, Jan 22 (A.A) - Swedish Deputy Prime Minister Lena Hjelm-Wallen will pay a visit to Turkey upon the invitation of Deputy Prime Minister and State Minister Mesut Yilmaz.
A statement of the Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday that Swedish Deputy Prime Minister and an accompanying delegation would visit Ankara between January 29 and 30.
The statement noted that bilateral relations, Turkey-European Union (EU) relations and regional and international developments would be taken up during the contacts of Swedish Deputy Prime Minister.
Hjelm-Wallen was expected to be received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer and meet with Yilmaz and Parliamentary Foreign Affairs Commission Chairman Kamran Inan.
