KALE, Jan 22 (A.A) - The earthquake measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale, which took place in Aegean and Mediterranean Sea also shook Kale town of southern Antalya province causing the death of one person due to heart attack on Tuesday.
The strong tremor measuring 5.9 on the Richter scale which took place in Aegean Sea at 6.54 a.m. also shook Bodrum, Marmaris and Datca towns of western Mugla province.
Many citizens rushed to the streets from their houses during the tremor. Huseyin Kaplan (47), a technician had heart attack during the tremor and died.
The epicenter of the quake was in the sea, which was 370 kilometers southeast of Athens, Greece.
