ANKARA, Jan 21 (A.A) - Coalition parties asked the Advisory Council to convene on Monday in order to revise the working hours of Parliament to pass a number important bills.
At the meeting of the Advisory Council, participants will propose to discuss a bill on the prison administration on Jan. 23. The bill proposes prison sentence for people who encourage hunger strikes and death fasts among inmates.
Other bills with priority are about the Maritime Undersecretariat and increasing of traffic fines.
The working hours of the General Council will be proposed as 3p.m. through 8 p.m. for Tuesday and 2 p.m. through 8 p.m. on Wednesday.
At Parliament General Council, the participants tomorrow will discuss whether or not the censure motion against Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit and Ministers' Council members should be included in Parliament's agenda. The censure motion given by the Felicity Party (SP) claims that the government's wrong energy policies deepened the economic crisis in Turkey.
