Gul: Ecevit Returned From U.S. Empty Handed

KAYSERI, Jan 20 (A.A) - Justice and Development Party (AK) Deputy Chairman Abdullah Gul has defined Ecevit's visit to the United States as ''unsuccessful'' and said that Ecevit returned from the United States ''empty handed.''
''Ecevit was very ambitious in the beginning of his visit. The newspapers wrote that textile quotas would be lifted and military debts would be cancelld. My party wished him success and we hoped he would obtain good results. But we saw that the quotas and military debts remained. Ecevit returned from the United States empty handed.
