WASHINGTON D.C., Jan 17 (A.A) - Prime Minister Bulent Ecevit met on Wednesday with U.S. Secretary of Treasury Paul O'Neill and U.S. Commercial Representative Robert Zoellick.
State Minister Kemal Dervis for Economy; Foreign Minister Ismail Cem; Faruk Logoglu, the Turkish Ambassador to United States; Treasury Undersecretary Faik Oztrak; and Central Bank Governor Sureyya Serdengecti were also in attendance at the meeting.
Meanwhile, State Minister Tunca Toskay; Foreign Minister Ismail Cem; Faruk Logoglu, the Turkish Ambassador to United States; and Foreign Trade Undersecretary Faik Oztrak attended the meeting between Prime Minister Ecevit and Zoellick.
Zoellick told reporters following the meeting that a new economic commission was formed between Turkey and the United States, and added that economic affairs would be coordinated by the commission.
