Bomb explodes at office of Turkey's ruling party, no injuries

ANKARA - A small bomb exploded at one of the offices of Turkey's governing Justice and Development Party (AKP) on Thursday, but no one was injured, a party official said.
The bomb was left in a plastic bag at the door of the AKP office in Ankara's Altindag district and the blast ripped the flat's door, district chief Orhan Kaya told the Anatolia news agency.
A second explosive device was left at the door of the AKP office in the city's Cankaya district, but police destroyed the bomb before it exploded, the agency said.
The bomb was designed to cause a loud noise rather than damage, it said.
No one clamed resposibility for the attacks, Anatolia said, adding that security was beefed up at other AKP offices.
