Turkey Repays U.S.D. 332.5 Million In Foreign Debt Between Jan 2-16

ANKARA, Jan 17 (A.A) - Turkey repaid a total of 332.5 million U.S. dollars in external debt between January 2 and 16, 2002 except private sector.
The Central Bank data show that the Treasury repaid 249.2 million U.S. dollars; the Central Bank repaid 7.2 million U.S. dollars; 50.4 million U.S. dollars was paid to International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the administrations with general and consolidated budget paid the remaining 25.7 million U.S. dollars.
The total external debt repayments in 2001 was 13 billion 53.9 million U.S. dollars.
