KAYSERI - Serafettin Inceturkmen, the chairman of the association of families of martyrs in central Turkish city of Kayseri, and families of four victims of terrorism have filed a lawsuit against Abdullah Ocalan, the head of the terrorist organization PKK, with a request of 30 thousand YTL in compensation.
Holding a news conference, Inceturkmen said on Thursday, ''the terrorist organization PKK led by Ocalan killed thousands of civilian people. A number of soldiers, security officials, teachers and public officers were slain in acts of terrorism. Support of foreign countries and our people's failure to open legal procedures have spoiled Ocalan. Therefore, we have filed a lawsuit by using our legal rights.''
''Both Ocalan and the other members of the terrorist organization have bank accounts in Switzerland. Those accounts should be frozen to compensate our losses. If we win the lawsuit, we will spend the money for requirements of families of victims of the PKK,'' he added.
