NEW YORK (AA) - Turkish Foreign Minister Abdullah Gul left United States for Turkey early on Sunday.
Gul, who accompanied Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan during his visit to the United States, had a working meeting with some diplomats before he departed from New York.
Arriving in the United States before Erdogan, Gul delivered a speech at the annual meeting of American Turkish Council (ATC) held in Washington, and later met U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice.
Gul also attended the meeting between U.S. President George Bush and Erdogan, and accompanied Erdogan during his meeting with UN Secretary General Kofi Annan in New York.
