Greek Cypriots Observe Religious Ceremony In N Cyprus

LEFKOSA (AA) - Greek Cypriots observed on Friday a religious ceremony at the St. Barnabas Icon & Archeology Museum in Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) to commemorate St. Barnabas, one of apostles of Jesus Christ who was born in Cyprus, on the anniversary of his death.
This is the first time this religious ceremony is performed by the Greek Cypriots in this museum in Gazimagusa under the permission of TRNC authorities.
St. Barnabas is one of the most important apostles who helped spread of Christianity.
Around 300 Greek Cypriots joined the religious ceremony.
