ROME (AA) - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen, who opened Turkish pavilion in the 51st International Venice Biennial on Thursday, said that he was pleased with the interest shown by the visitors.
Speaking to reporters prior to his departure from Venice on Friday, Tuzmen said that Turkey was promoted in the best way during the biennial.
Tuzmen said, ``Turkish pavilion was organized by the support of Turkish Foreign Ministry and sponsored by Turquality, Garanti Bank and Shop&Miles Club. This activity was one of the most important examples of cooperation between public and private sectors.``
``Such activities contribute to promote the image of Turkey,`` he added.
Venice Biennial will continue until November 6th, 2005.
