STRASBOURG (AA) - Turkish businessmen in Strasbourg, France have launched an initiative to set up an association.
Speaking to A.A, Ilhan Gulal, the spokesman of the initiative said on Friday that their aim was to improve solidarity and cooperation among Turkish businessmen working in Strasbourg.
Noting that there were around 3,000 Turkish businessmen in Strasbourg, Gulal said that they also wanted to promote Turkey's EU bid in Strasbourg which hosted European institutions like the European Parliament (EP) and Council of Europe (COE).
Gulal said they wished the association to be open also for French businessmen so that Turkish and French businessmen could cooperate more among themselves.
