ISTANBUL (AA) - There was a technical failure in an airplane of Royal Dutch Airlines (KLM) when it was getting ready to take off from Istanbul to Amsterdam on Friday.
The remote control-device of the plane which was scheduled to take off from Istanbul's Ataturk Airport at 05.00 a.m. for Amsterdam, went out of order. The plane was taken to Turkish Airlines (THY) hangar in order to repair the remote control system of the plane.
Officials said that the failure was not a serious one, and it would be sorted out in the afternoon.
