ANKARA, Jan 13 (A.A) - Professor Ihsan Dogramaci, the Chairman of Bilkent University Board of Trustees, continues contacts in Afghanistan together with a group of professors.
Sources said on Sunday that Turkish delegation met with Afghan Minister of Foreign Affairs Abdullah Abdullah, Minister of Higher Education Sharif Faez, Minister of Health Suhaila Seddiqi, Minister of Information and Culture Raheen Makhdoom and Kabul University Rector Inayetullah Baleyh.
The delegation took up cooperation in education, health, and a cooperation between Kabul Ataturk Children's Hospital and Hacettepe University Children's Hospital during their contacts.
Within this framework, the delegation stressed on the contribution to training of personnel of Kabul Ataturk Children's Hospital and improvement of medical equipment.
The sides also agreed to exchange delegations while Turkey decided to send experts on education and medicine to Afghanistan.
The delegation is headed by Foreign Ministry Deputy Undersecretary and Special Coordinator for Afghanistan Aydemir Erman and comprised of Dogramaci, Hacettepe University Deputy Rector Ahmet Gogus, Ihsan Dogramaci Children's Hospital Child Health Institute Director Tezer Kutluk, Faculty of Medicine Pediatrics Department Head Gulsev Kale and Bilkent University Board of Trustees Member Ali Kandur.
