Israeli I.M.I. Company Ranks The First In Tender Of Avionic Modernization C-130 Cargo Planes

ANKARA, Jan 13 (A.A) - Israeli Defense Industry Company IMI, which applied for the modernization of M-5 tanks, ranked the first in tender of avionic modernization of C-130 cargo planes.
Within the scope of the project, carried out by Defense Industry Undersecretariat, it was decided that talks would start with the Israeli IMI company for the modification of seven C-130 cargo planes.
Following the completion of final works in this respect, a decision will be taken by Defense Industry Executive Committee to sign a contract with the Israeli IMI company.
Rockwell-Collins, Radom Aviaton System, Marshal Aerospace, Melyhis International, U.S. Lockheed Martin Aircraft and Logistic Centers, Singapore Technologies Aerospace, Honoywell, Spanish Casa, French, Thomso-CSF International, Elybit System, Sogerma, Certified Aircraft and BAE systems from the United Arab Emirates were among the companies which received files calling for the modification of C-130 cargo planes cost of 30 million U.S. dollars.
