ISTANBUL (AA) - German KfW Ipex Bank Executive Board Spokesman Peter Klaus said on Wednesday that Turkey was an important commercial partner of Germany in the Near and Middle East region.
Speaking in a news conference upon the opening of KfW Ipex Bank's representative office in Ankara, Klaus said that they targeted to intensify the good relations with Turkey which continued for 40 years with the office they opened in Ankara. Klaus stressed that Turkey became one of the main markets of KfW Ipex Bank in South East Europe.
Noting that KfW Banks Group was one of the biggest banks of Germany, Klaus said that the Bank supported the projects of Iskenderun Thermoelectric Power Plant, Ermenek Hydroelectric Power Plant and Marport Container Terminal in Turkey.
