I.M.F. - World Bank Annual Group Meeting In Istanbul

ANKARA (AA) - The annual group meeting of International Monetary Fund (IMF) and World Bank will be held in Istanbul on Friday.
IMF Executive Director Willy Kiekens will chair the meeting in which World Bank Alternate Executive Director Gino Alzetta will also participate.
Financial applications and borrowing policies of countries (who are in the same group with Turkey in IMF and World Bank) will be taken up in the meeting.
Turkey's Treasury Undersecretary Ibrahim Canakci and Central Bank Governor Sureyya Serdengecti will attend the meeting.
Meanwhile the IMF delegation headed by Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Georgianni continued its work at Treasury today.
