ANKARA (AA) - Military representatives of Organization of Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) countries will visit the Sixth Main Jet Base Command in Bandirma and Infantry School and Training Center Command in Tuzla, Istanbul between 13th-17th June within the scope of confidence and security building measures among OSCE countries.
General Staff Secretariat General issued a statement on Wednesday saying that OSCE countries which have combatant air units, visit air bases of one member country and open a military base to visit of other countries at least once in every five years to improve transparency among OSCE countries under the Vienna Document-1999 adopted by OSCE countries.
Turkey fully, sincerely and openly fulfills its commitments under the Vienna Document, said General Staff.
Military representatives from 55 OSCE member countries, and countries which are members of OSCE-Asian and Mediterranean Cooperation Partnership have been invited to Turkey, General Staff said.
Military personnel from the United States, Germany, Austrian, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Estonia, Finland, France, Croatia, the Netherlands, Britain, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Japan, Canada, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia and Montenegro, Slovakia, Slovenia, Ukraine and Greece will come to Turkey within the scope of the program.
