Turkey To Donate 2.1 Million Dollars To Azerbaijani Army

BAKU (AA) - Turkey will donate 2.1 million dollars to Azerbaijani army in 2005.
Turkish Embassy in Baku issued a statement on Wednesday saying that the donation would be used for training of Azerbaijani military personnel in Turkey and at NATO training centers.
Turkey will donate to Azerbaijan under a protocol recently signed by the two countries during the visit of Gen. Ali Akdogan, the Turkish General Staff Defense Resources Management Office Head, to Baku which ends today.
Turkey also donated military stuff worth of 3.28 million dollars to Azerbaijani army on May 13th, 2005.
Turkey has military cooperation with more than 30 countries within the scope of Partnership For Peace (PFP) agreements.
