ISTANBUL (AA) - Turkey and Ukraine aim to increase their bilateral trade volume to 10 billion USD by 2010, Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said on Wednesday.
Speaking at a working lunch hosted in honor of Ukrainian President Viktor Yushchenko by the Turkish-Ukrainian Business Council in Turkish commercial hub of Istanbul, Tuzmen said that Turkish businessmen had 200 million USD of direct investments in Ukraine.
Tuzmen pointed out that Turkish construction companies had made investments worth 900 million USD in this country, and called on Turkish businessmen to invest in Crimea.
Ukrainian iron and steel companies wanted to invest in Turkey, added Tuzmen.
