Turkey - Eu Joint Parliamentary Commission Meeting To Be Held Soon

ANKARA (AA) - The 54th Turkey-EU Joint Parliamentary Commission meeting will be held in Istanbul between 13th-14th June.
State Minister and Chief Negotiator for EU Ali Babacan will address the opening of the meeting in which Turkey-EU relations, dialogue with Turkish non-governmental organizations, integration of Turkish communities living in EU countries and inter-institutional cooperation in EU enlargement process will be discussed.
On the second day of the conference, State Minister Nimet Cubukcu who is in charge of women and family affairs will address the meeting, and European Parliament Rapporteur Emine Bozkurt will present a report about the position of women in Turkey.
After the meeting, parliamentarians from both sides will meet academicians and students in Bogazici University.
