DUBAI (AA) - An Iraqi group known as the Ali Bin Abi Talib Brigades kidnapped a Turkish businessman, and threatened to kill him in four days if Turkey did not stop supporting U.S. forces in Iraq.
Private Dubai Television broadcast a video showing the hostage holding up a passport while two men point rifles at his head. The channel identified the hostage as Ali.
The television said the group threatened to kill the Turkish businessman and two of his colleagues within four days if its demands were not met.
The group demanded the Turkish government to stop all logistical support to the American army and to stop cooperating with U.S. companies in Iraq.
It is still unknown whether the hostage is Ali Musluoglu, one of share-holders of Hatay-based Musluoglu Transportation Company, who has been missing in Baghdad since May 23rd.
