ISTANBUL, Jan 11 (A.A) - Galatasaray was ranked eighth in the ''Club World Ranking in 2001'' by the International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS).
Galatasaray had been ranked second after Real Madrid in 2000.
This ranking takes into consideration the results of twelve months of continental and intercontinental competitions, national league matches (including play-offs) and the national cup.
