ANKARA, Jan 10 (A.A) - World Bank Turkey Representative Ajay Chhibber said on Thursday that the financial sector bill which aims to strengthen the capital structure of banks is important for the economic programme.
Chhibber came to Prime Ministry to meet with Prime Ministry Deputy Undersecretary Selcuk Polat and to get information about the ''village-city project.''
Upon questions of journalists, Chhibber said that they worked with State Minister Kemal Dervis about the banking and real sector, adding that he didn't know the details of the study.
Chhibber added that the officials undertook an important study for transparency.
