ANKARA, Jan 9 (A.A) - Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) said on Wednesday that the agency approved the beginning of precautionary liquidation of the central branch of Robobank International in Turkey upon the demand of the bank.
A statement of BRSA said that it had been decided to begin the precautionary liquidation of the central branch of Robobank International in Turkey upon the demand of the bank made on December 27, 2001.
The statement noted that the bank had also a representation in Istanbul, adding that the representation continued its transactions.
Robobank International was centered in Utrecht city of the Netherlands.
