ANKARA, Jan 7 (A.A) - State Minister Kemal Dervis said on Monday that his meeting with the Civilian Initiative was positive, adding that everybody stated their views about very important issues.
Dervis said economic developments for the year 2002 and operation to strengthen finance sector were discussed, and the sides stated their views.
Dervis said the meeting lasted for five hours, adding that, ''I can't say we have reached a full consensus of opinion, but we have taken important steps.''
Stressing that it was not possible to reach consensus of opinion always and on every issue, Dervis said, ''to hold this discussion, being people who love his country, was important.''
