Japanese Deputy Senate Speaker Shoji Motooka Due In Turkey

ANKARA, Jan 7 (A.A) - Parliamentary delegation headed by Japanese Deputy Senate Speaker Shoji Motooka will pay an official visit to Turkey between January 8-13 as the guest of the Parliament Speaker's Office.
The delegation is expected to arrive at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport late on Tuesday, and meet with the Turkish-Japanese Business Council members in Istanbul on Wednesday. The delegation will proceed to Ankara the same day and be welcomed by Deputy Parliament Speaker Yuksel Yalova at Ankara's Esenboga Airport.
The Japanese delegation will start its contacts in Ankara on Thursday, January 10 by visiting mausoleum of Great Founder Mustafa Kemal Ataturk.
The same day, Shoji Motooka will meet with Yalova, Turkish-Japanese Interparliamentary Friendship Group Chairman Ilyas Yilmazyildiz and group members at the Parliament.
Later in the same day, Parliament Speaker Omer Izgi will receive Shoji Motooka and accompanying delegation. Following the meeting, the Japanese delegation will follow General Assembly works.
The guest delegation which will visit the Anatolian Civilizations Museum in Ankara will later be received by President Ahmet Necdet Sezer on Friday, January 11.
Following the meeting with the President, the Japanese delegation will visit the Turkish-Japanese Culture Center in Oran district of Ankara.
The delegation which will return to Istanbul on January 12, will later proceed to Adapazari and visit the Japanese village set up after the earthquake disaster.
The guest delegation will leave Turkey late on Sunday, January 13 after visiting historical places in Istanbul.
