KOMRAT - Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said that Turkey and Gagauz Turks should direct their common points towards receiving joint share from world trade.
Tuzmen visited Parliament of the autonomous republic of Gagauz in Moldova and attended Turkey-Moldova Gagauz Republic Regional Business Forum on Saturday.
During his speeches at Parliament and Forum, Tuzmen said that every type of infrastructure was completed to increase trade volume between Turkey and Moldova. He added that increase of investments especially in Gagauzia will contribute to economy of Moldova as well as to development of Gagauzia.
Tuzmen noted that they will continue to provide support for increasing Turkish developments in Gagauzia.
Tuzmen said, ''Gagauzia is an autonomous region and its advantages should be assessed.''
Tuzmen noted, ''the region will develop as soon as Gagauz Turks take decisions for investments rapidly and solve tax incentive exemptions.''
''I believe Turkish investments and trade volume with Gagauzia will increase in the region,'' he added.
Meanwhile, Parliament Speaker of Gagauzia Stepan Esir said that they aim to develop Gagauzia in economic aspect. He added that after reaching this target they will make investments in social and cultural areas.
