VIENNA (AA) - President Heinz Fischer of Austria received on Friday Turkish Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul, who is currently in Vienna on a two-day official visit.
Sources said that Gul informed Fischer on reform process in Turkey and the latest developments in Cyprus in the meeting.
Sources quoted Fischer as saying that he always supported Turkey and he would continue supporting the country.
Following his meeting with Fischer, Gul noted that Fischer was a friend of Turkey, adding that the meeting was very beneficial.
On June 4th, Gul will attend the European Forum in Wachau and deliver a speech on ''Outlook for the Future: Europe One Year After Enlargement''.
