Dutch Parliamentarians Due In Turkey

ANKARA (AA) - A delegation of Dutch parliamentarians will pay a visit to Turkey to hold a series of meetings, the Dutch Embassy in Ankara said on Friday.
     Members of the Dutch House of Representatives Committee for Foreign & EU Relations will visit Ankara, Diyarbakir and Istanbul from June 5th to 11th.
     The delegation headed by Committee Chairman Henk de Haan is expected to hold talks with government executives, lawmakers, businessmen and representatives of non-governmental organizations.
     The visit coincides with rejection of the EU Constitution by Dutch voters in Wednesday's referendum.
     The Embassy said that the visit's purpose is to get information about Turkey and Turkey's target of EU membership.
     Meanwhile, Haan is expected to hold a news conference on June 7th.
