Imf Delegation Meets Tmsf, Tbb And Tusiad

ISTANBUL (AA) - IMF delegation headed by IMF Turkey Desk Chief Lorenzo Giorgianni met officials of Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF), the Banks Association of Turkey (TBB) and the Association of Turkish Industrialists & Businessmen (TUSIAD) in Istanbul today (June 3rd).
     Following the meeting , TUSIAD Executive Board Chairman Omer Sabanci said that they were pleased that the economic program supported by the new stand-by deal would be continued.
     Sabanci noted that they told the IMF delegation that developments regarding fight against unregistered economy, administrative and judiciary reform and privatization should be maintained in the new program, adding that TUSIAD was following these issues carefully.
