International Council For North Cyprus

LEFKOSA (AA) - The International Council For North Cyprus (ICNC) was established by a group of Turkish Cypriot and foreign businessmen to contend with lawsuits filed by Greek Cypriot people for properties in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC).
     The council aims to promote the TRNC and support economic prosperity of Turkish Cypriot people.
     It will launch initiatives in the EU, the United States and the United Nations to start direct flights to TRNC and removal of all embargoes and isolations.
     The council also targets to improve relations between Turkish Cypriot people and the international community in order to protect economic interests of the TRNC.
