Law Amending Execution And Bankrupt Code Goes Into Effect

ANKARA - The law amending the Execution and Bankrupt Code went into effect after being published in the Official Gazette on Wednesday.
The new Turkish Penal Code also went into force the same day. The adoption of these laws was important for Turkey to abide by EU laws.
The new law brings the Turkish Execution and Bankrupt Code in line with the EU laws and it covers provisions applicable to the execution of rights and enforcement of judgements and to Bankruptcy proceedings.
