Many Weapons And Ammunition Seized In A Tractor In Siverek

SIVEREK (AA) - Security forces seized many weapons and ammunition in a tractor in Siverek town of southeastern Sanliurfa city on Thursday.
     Sanliurfa Governor's Office said that acting on a tip-off, security forces started to follow one person who brought weapons from the north of Iraq. The man opened fire against the security forces who warned him to stop his tractor while he was carrying the weapons and ammunition to Siverek town.
     The person was arrested and two shoulder-fired anti-tank rocket launchers, 11 rifles, six revolvers, and many ammunition were seized in his tractor.
     An investigation is underway.
