LEFKOSA (AA) - President Mehmet Ali Talat of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) received UN Under-Secretary-General for Political Affairs Sir Kieran Prendergast in Lefkosa on Thursday.
The meeting was attended also by TRNC Prime Minister Ferdi Sabit Soyer, Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Serdar Denktas and UN Secretary General Kofi Annan's Special Envoy to Cyprus Zbigniew Wlosowicz.
President Talat, Prime Minister Soyer and Foreign Minister Denktas will leave for Turkey later in the day.
The three will meet Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Foreign Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullah Gul on recent developments in the island.
