ANKARA (AA) - A protocol will be signed between Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) this weekend in addition to the financial & economic cooperation protocol, Turkish State Minister & Deputy Prime Minister Abdullatif Sener said on Wednesday.
In an interview with the A.A, Sener said that Turkey and the TRNC signed the financial & economic cooperation protocol of 450 million USD for a three-year period.
''After the elections, a new government has come to the power in the TRNC. The government has its own economic program. Therefore, we will review the protocol in the light of recent developments. An additional protocol will be signed between Turkey and the TRNC on Saturday,'' he said.
Sener noted that the additional protocol focused on narrowing the state and strengthening the real sector and market economy.
