GAZIANTEP (AA) - Exports from Southeastern Anatolia Project (GAP) region increased 39 percent to 693.9 million USD in the January-May period of 2005.
     The region exported 411.8 million USD in textiles; 129.3 million USD in grain-cereals; 1.4 million USD in livestock; and 43.9 million USD in dried fruits.
     In the same period last year, exports from the region were about 498.2 million USD.
