Silk Road Fair Train Opened In Kazakhstan

ANKARA (AA) - The Silk Road Train Turkish Exports Fair was opened in its last stop Astana, Kazakhstan on Tuesday.
     Forum Fair stated that more than 50,000 people have visited Silk Road train so far.
     Turkish Foreign Trade Deputy Undersecretary Ulker Guzel and Turkish Ambassador in Almaty Taner Seben opened the fair in Astana.
     The Silk Road Train set off from Istanbul on April 23rd to promote Turkey and Turkish products in 7 countries including Iran, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan, on a railway of 10,560 kilometers, within 38 days.
     The fair aims to revive the Silk Road, one of the most important trade routes of the past, and further improve commercial and cultural relations between regional countries.
     The train did not stop by Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan due to the developments in those countries.
     Silk Road Train will be in Turkey 15 days later.
