Tuzmen Thanks U.S. Congressman Whitfield For His Support To Cyprus Cause

ANKARA (AA) - State Minister Kursad Tuzmen thanked US Congressman Ed Whitfield for the support he extended and efforts he made to explain the views of TRNC to the world opinion.
     Tuzmen met today Ed Whitfield, the chairman of US-Turkish Friendship Group at the U.S. House of Representatives, who recently visited TRNC.
     Tuzmen said that the US Congressmen's visit to TRNC helped in explaining to the world opinion what Turkey and TRNC made to resolve the Cyprus problem.
     Noting that he would also discuss commercial relations between Turkey and the US with Congressman Whitfield, Tuzmen said that Turkey aimed to have 10 billion dollars of trade volume with the US.
     US Congressman Whitfield said in his part that they paid a very important visit to Cyprus. He also praised the efforts deployed by Tuzmen to boost Turkey's foreign trade.
