ANKARA (AA) - Lesova-Hamzabey border crossing will be opened on June 22nd, Turkish State Minister Kursad Tuzmen said on Tuesday.
     Making the opening remarks of the meeting of Turkish-Bulgarian Joint Economic Commission in Turkish capital of Ankara, Tuzmen said that this new border pass would be opened as one of the measures aiming at reducing the burden on Kapikule border crossing.
     Tuzmen said that the trade volume between Turkey and Bulgaria was 1.8 billion USD in 2004, and noted that it was expected to reach 2.5 billion by the end of this year.
     On the other hand, Bulgarian Minister of Economy Milko Kovachev said that Turkish ''Sisecam'' factory would be inaugurated in Bulgaria in June.
     Turkey was Bulgaria's number three trade partner after Germany and Italy, Kovachev stressed.
