I.M.F. Delegation Due In Turkey On June 2nd

ANKARA (AA) - An International Monetary Fund (IMF) delegation will be coming to Turkey on June 2nd.
     According to a press release by the Turkish Treasury, the IMF delegation will evaluate the new stand-by agreement and meet private sector representatives in Istanbul on June 2nd.
     The IMF delegation, which will make the first evaluation of the stand-by agreement, has been invited to Turkey by Turkish State Minister Ali Babacan.
     After Istanbul, the IMF delegation will conduct meetings with officials in Ankara as of June 6th, 2005. ''The most recent economic developments and reforms will be discussed,'' said the Turkish Treasury. Additionally, the IMF delegation will evaluate projects involving state banks, social security and tax reforms.
