BATMAN (AA) - An explosion occurred in a pipeline in southeastern city of Batman on Monday, sources said.
Sources noted that a fire broke out as the explosives planted by some unidentified assailants on the pipeline belonging to Turkish Petroleum Corp. (TPAO) went off early this morning.
According to the same sources, the fire was put out before it spread around.
Damage assessment work had been launched, while an investigation was under way, added the sources.
